A disturbing allegation involving BJP functionary Sunil Kumar, president of the BJP Dalit Mandal in Kanjhawala, Delhi, has drawn attention on social media. Kumar alleges that he was called to a BJP office by BJP MLA Gajendra Daral for a meeting and was subsequently assaulted overnight by around 12 men.

He claims CCTV cameras were switched off and that pipes, sticks and belts were used during the alleged assault. Graphic images circulating online show severe injuries.

Kumar has submitted a written complaint to police, alleging threats and difficulty obtaining medical treatment. His family is demanding an FIR, including provisions under the SC/ST Act, against those allegedly responsible.
