The minister has finally apologized on social media platforms and stated that he and his team are working full-time to address the problem, which happened due to the mixing of sewage water with tap water.

A city that prides itself on being the cleanest city in India for many years has suffered a tragic incident when nearly 10 people lost their lives, including a 5-month-old, due to contaminated water and approximately 200 people are still in hospital. As per reports, sewage water got mixed with the tap water, which caused the death.

The reporter’s name is Anurag Dwari from NDTV who could be seen asking the minister politely about the compensation that the suffering families have not received, to which the minister lost his cool and said “Faaltu ke Swaal mat poocho” (Don’t ask nonsense questions) followed by a “Ghanta” remark.

Seeing the response, the reporter questioned the minister for using such slang language. A few seconds later, an accompanying individual with the minister confronted the reporter and stated, “He is our leader, you will say anything?” in reply to the reporter’s outburst towards the minister. The final words of the conversation were “Go and do your work” from the reporter to the accompanying individual.

The minister’s name is Kailash Vijayvargiya who snapped back the reporter when he asked about the compensation that the families have not received.
